HARRY EVANS TAKES HILLCLIMB TITLE.

Far from ideal conditions greeted the competitors in this years Club Championship with heavy rain, leaves and mud, and rivers of water on the climbs. ONLY A WEEK TO GO!

SUNDAY OCTOBER 16th. Guest riders welcome . £4 entry to cover both ascents. Club members £1. Signing on from 09.30 in Brantingham village near the foot of Spout Hill. 10.00.....Spout Climb. 10.30 approx.......Brantingham Dale Road Climb. After the climbs we will be group riding to Cliffe Road (behind Beechwood Cafe) for a FreeWheeling competition and then on to Beechwood for lunch.

Non-members and novices always welcome. We strongly recommend the wearing of safety helmets on our club rides (for the safety of all riders). Meet at Cottingham Green opposite Sainsburys at 9am (unless otherwise stated). Normally two groups. The steady group will ride to the pace of the slower rider. We usually get to café about 11.15.
