Racing

The Club promotes a large programme of events for members of all ages and levels of ability. Back numbers must be worn and must be RETURNED AT THE FINISH.
Schoolpersons MUST wear an approved safety helmet for all Club events.

Club Championship Rules

For the year 2022, TT Championships will be based on a rider’s best eight placings on club nights. In the event of a tie the trophy will be shared. This may be reduced to 5/6 by the Committee in exceptional circumstances. All Club TT’s included except the hill climbs and 5 MTT (unless Schoolboy/girl trophies).
For all City Road Club (Hull) club time trials it is now compulsory for ALL riders to wear an approved HARD SHELL safety helmet. Working front and rear lights are now compulsory in all time trials.

Open Events

An official CTT entry form must be filled in for Open Time Trials and received by the event organiser ten days before the date of the event. Many events now accept INTERNET ENTRY. A current BC licence must be held for Road Races and an official BC entry form must be filled in and sent to the organiser three weeks before the date of the event. Consult your CTT and BC handbooks for full details. Further assistance can be received from Mark Philipson if required.
