Relatively unimportant after the news of Big Stu but we had two riders out on the Circuit of Bassenthwaite at the weekend.
Nic Fairfield made his start to the defence of his Rudy title with a 3rd on actual and 5th on category adjusted times whilst travelling companion Andy Vaughan finished 30th on actual and 31st on target times.
Yet another accident on a bike so take care on the road...

Saturdays VTTA Yorkshire 10 on the V718 was almost a float day,  literally, with a severe deluge prior to the start causing a ten minute delay to allow organiser, Mike Williams, time to inspect the course for standing water. First Club event of the season held on the Beverley course was greeted with chilly and windy conditions. A good field of 17 riders were not put off and some close racing followed.
Main event was the competition for the Medium Gear title which went to the fast reving Steve Carrigan ahead of Andy Tummons and Mark 'where is the sun' Philipson.
Fastest on unrestricted was Phil  Oakes...

Tuesday 10th April is our first club TT of the season.
V710 Beverley By Pass 10 mile TT and restricted gear TT. 76.2 gearage.
Early start of first rider off 6.31pm
