Final evening event of the season. Tuesday sees the last event of our evening series. Course -  V710 Beverley 10 on the A1079. Start at the eastern end. Early start due to nights drawing in........6.30. Please contact Geoff if likely to be late. Guest riders welcome at £3 a ride. Numbers may be limited if  the evening is overcast. WORKING REAR LIGHT RECOMMENDED.

Cyclo cross series. Dates for the popular Cliff PRATT Cycles / City Road Club  autumn cyclo cross series have now been finalised. Peter McLeavy handicap 10mtt. Last night penultimate race of the season so nearly did not happen. Torrential rain, strong wind, darkening skies and standing water threatened the event even getting underway. Change to Sunday club ride. Due to the extreme weather forecast the Andy Harker 100 mile ride via Filey has been changed to a ride to Hutton Cranswick. In view of the possibility of  riders being stuck miles from home this seems a sensible solution.

Harry hood winks the handicapper! Tuesday nights final event on Lund managed to avoid the worst of the weather and saw a good field of twenty riders contest the ten miles of Lumpy Lund. Leaving Cottingham Green at 9.10

Non-members  & Skyride participants always welcome.

The club will be organising a reliability ride on September 14th 8.15am from Cott Green for a 75 mile with Fridaythorpe café as a refreshment stop (optional) before finishing at Skidby village hall for tea, cake and a bun. There will also be a 50 mile version 8.45am. Entry fee is £3. contact Ken Bateman for entry forms and any more info.
