WEBSITE UPDATE! Looking like Nick Fairfield is well on the way to getting this site functioning once again! Once we are sure of its reliability we will once again start to use it alongside the clubs Facebook pages. Do you recognise these club members?

image We are rapidly approaching the date that City Road Club Hull was founded and 2016 will be our 50th Anniversary year. As a bit of fun and to stir memories of the foundation years here are a couple of group shots to enjoy. As far as I know the top one is the earliest Betty has and is the Clubs first members. Sunday (14th) group ride.

Sunday (14th) group ride. The planned ride over the "ditch" into Lincolnshire has had to be dropped due to the Humber Bridge Sportive! 500 riders are scheduled to take part on the roads we were planning to ride. Ken and John felt it prudent to, yet again, re-schedule the ride. A ride will still take place. MEET AT COTTINGHAM GREEN FOR 09.05 FOR A RIDE ON THE NORTH BANK.

Great day for peter Taylor memorial race.

image Warm and windy conditions greeted the near 50 riders who took to our annual road race held on the Little Weighton Circuit. The early pace, according to race judge, Dave Lambert, was more touring then racing! But from lap three riders started to work for breaks and the pace ramped up. Combined with the persistent wind the bunch was stringing out but soon regrouped as...Read More »

Missing race numbers.

Missing race numbers. Could any riders, club or guest, who have ridden our Tuesday evening events recently please check their kit bags / cars as three numbers have gone walkabout! Numbers 25 / 28 and 60 are missing. It is an expensive job to replace them individually or get another full set so their return would be appreciated. No reward just a happy secretary!

Eeer Wiggo!

image A few shots from the event on May 16 th. What a day for the area and City Road Club Hull. Hi all, Just a heads up

If necessary from now we will be trying out 3 groups on the cafe rides on a Sunday. The steady group, the faster group (16-18mph average) and a training group (+18mph average).

The hope is that this will allow those who want to train at intensity on a Sunday the space to do so without the risk of dropping those who want to ride tempo. It also gives riders an option to ride in different training zones as per their on particular training plan
