CONGRATULATION DEBI CHARLESWORTH. Fantastic effort on the V718 from Debi today with 23.03 for the ten miles. Her time beats her own Vets Record and also the ladies outright time set on the old V718 by Sandra King in 1995. HUMBERSIDE TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP 2016.
Congratulations to Mike McLeavy, Mark Symons and Nick Fairfield on taking Bronze in the reincarnation of the old Humberside Championships. Thanks to Richard Guymer and HTRC for promoting the event which deserved considerably more support from local riders than it received. YORKSHIRE WOLDS CHALLENGE IN JULY.
Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Route This is a 146 mile, well established route around the Yorkshire Wolds. It was developed by Sustrans in 2011 and uses mainly quiet and scenic roads. Non-members and novices always welcome. We strongly recommend the wearing of safety helmets on our club rides (for the safety of all riders). Meet at Cottingham Green opposite Sainsburys at 9am (unless otherwise stated). Normally two groups. The steady group will ride to the pace of the slower rider. We usually get to café about 11.15.
