This coming Sunday (June 10th) is the Peter Taylor Memorial Road Race organised the by the Club. The course is the North Newbald circuit. As was found last year there are stretches of the course covered in mud and gravel. On Friday evening at 6:30pm a group of volunteers are meeting at the Littlewood Road junction with Burgate (heading up to High Hunsley from North Newbald) with shovels and brushes to clear the debris. If anyone has some spare time on Friday evening to come along and help out it would be greatly appreciated. The more people we have the quicker we can get the job done.
If anyone else is free on Sunday to help out with marshalling please let Nick Fairfield or Mark Symons know. For those who have already said they would marshall please can you be at North Newbald village hall for 9:15am for the marshalls briefing. Thanks. Nick.
