Sky Rides

The club will be running Sky Rides on the first Sunday of the month starting on the 2nd March. These rides are designed as an introduction to club and group riding with a social aspect. These can be found on the Sky Rides website. Further details with destinations and dates can be found here.

SUNDAY MARCH 2nd 2014.

Start / Finish. Cottingham Methodist Church. Hallgate. Cottingham.

Start time: 09.30 am.

Price. £2.00 [FREE to CTC Members]. £4.00 on the line.

Entry includes refreshments at the finish.

70 miles in 6 hours [Challenging]

50 miles in 4 / 5 hours [Steady pace]

35 miles no time limit. Enjoy the scenery.

Sunday Club Runs – September

3rd September – going to Bell Mills Garden Centre, Driffield

10th September – No Sunday ride. GHS 10 TT National Final on V714 (Gilberdyke) course.

17th September – going to Caistor Arts & Heritage Centre Cafe. Meet at Humber Bridge.

24th September – going to Castle Cafe, Withernsea.

01st October – going to Seaways Cafe, Fridaythorpe.

Non-members and novices always welcome. We strongly recommend the wearing of safety helmets on our club rides (for the safety of all riders). Meet at Cottingham Green opposite Sainsburys at 9am (unless otherwise stated). Normally two groups. The steady group will ride to the pace of the slower rider. We usually get to café about 11.15.
