Variable weather once again hit weekend events and also CRC Open last night.
Over the weekend Steve Carrigan rode the East Bradford 15 on the V221 finishing 8th in 34.36 whilst Andy Vaughan went chasing fast time in the Shaftsbury MM 25 a little further south. Time lost on the tough out run could not be regained on the ridiculously fast return and Andy just failed to beat the hour with 60.51.
Tuesday nights open on the Greater V had to be cancelled as, just as riders were going to the start, a bad storm hit and conditions were clearly unsafe to ride in. We all had to trek back to Newport and eat the wonderful cakes prepared for the event!
Just a reminder that on Sunday it’s the Pete Taylor Memorial RR on the Little Weighton course with HQ at N. Newbald. Help appreciated folks.
Next Tuesdays Club event is a 10 on the Driffield course. Starts at Beswick and turns at Driffield.
