SNOWY GROUP RIDES.

Conditions along the Humber Estuary seem to have been worse than on the Wolds today with those keeping to the flat lands hitting snow and ice in the early miles. Several spills and an injury to Gabriel Larkin saw Kens group abhort the run to Allerthorpe and stay nearer to home. The other groups, whilst still finding ice on the roads, headed for the Wolds and managed to get a good, if cold, ride in. The stop in the warmth of the Lakeside Cafe proved very welcome. The conditions that were encountered today once again emphasise the need to ride as a group and not leave folks behind regardless of conditions. Crashes and accidents can and do happen and group support is essential.
