The terrible weather that developed on Friday created sufficient standing water on the V718 which in turn became heavy spray meant our Good Friday Classic 10 had to be postponed. Hopefully a date later in the year will allow a re-run. In such situations rider safety is paramount.
The Easter eggs we had for raffle prizes and as helper gifts were taken to Castle Hill Young People’s Cancer Unit and the children’s ward at Hull Royal!
Thanks to all the people who turned out to help. It’s great to know that members and friends of the Club will support the running of events even when it unpleasant. You know who you are.
