A long trip to the E2/25 on Saturday for JOHN BREARLEY was rewarded with a fine 51m 45s ride to finally beat JASON YOUNGS long standing figures for senior men. Conditions were far from ideal on this soooooper fast course so respect for ending his season with this performance.
Club members entering the VTTA event on the V718 were welcomed by “float”(floating) conditions with the event having to be abandoned because of heavy rain, spray and flooding on the carriageway. Always a tough call for organisers after all their work but totally correct in this case.
