A few shots from the event on May 16 th. What a day for the area and City Road Club Hull. A totally free chance to see this icon of British cycling brought bigger crowds than some of Hull City games, well at least next seasons! The man did us proud with one of the fastest ever tens in the UK but not quite fast enough to claim the record. He will be back at some stage to put that right I am sure.
Great to see him mix with everyone with no airs and graces, sign memorabilia, chat, visit South Cave Junior school and even attend a wedding at the hotel he stopped at. His prize money was returned to be split between the juniors who rode. Chapeau Sir Brad!
