It is with great sadness that I must inform members, past and present, friends of City Road Club and those in the wider cycling family that a founder and life member of the Club, COLIN DERBYSHIRE, passed away peacefully early on Monday morning. Colin had been ill for sometime now but always maintained a keen interest in the Clubs activities and, along with his wife Linda, was a welcome guest at several of our 50th Anniversary activities. A rider of quality Colin’s name still appears on our record list as a team member for the men’s 50 miles!
Our thoughts go out to wife Linda, Colin’s daughters and their partners along with his grandchildren.
Rest in peace Colin and tail winds always.
