Basicaly the road which cyclists use is private and due to some close shaves with works vehicles the owners took the decision to close it to all but works vehicles. After discussion with the CTC the head man, also a cyclist, has agreed to the route being used on SUNDAYS ONLY.
Please respect this or the road will be permanently closed.
Spread the word to your fellow cyclists please.
3rd May – going to Barn Cafe, Tibthorpe.
10th May – going to Caistor.
17th May – going to Cafe Gelato, Market Weighton.
24th May – going to Allerthorpe.
31st May – going to Mr Moos, Skipsea.
Non-members and novices always welcome. We strongly recommend the wearing of safety helmets on our club rides (for the safety of all riders). Meet at Cottingham Green opposite Sainsburys at 9am (unless otherwise stated). Normally two groups. The steady group will ride to the pace of the slower rider. We usually get to café about 11.15.
