Last nights ten on the V711, Lund course, saw a good field of twenty riders assemble in excellent conditions to contest the Collinson handicap trophy.
Both elements of the race proved very close with the top three only covered by five seconds. Steve C winning in 22.59 with guest, Adam Jordan, close behind in 23.02. Only two further seconds back was fast improving Alex Russell in 23.04.
Highlight of the evening was the contest for the Collinson handicap trophy which was eventually won by schoolboy, Harry Nolan, with a net time of 21.21, to beat Andy Lenham by three seconds. What made Harry’s ride even better was that his actual time was a ten mile pb. No mean feat on Lund. Well done Harry and make sure you tell dad how to ride a fast ten!
