After considerable thought we have reluctantly decided to cancel the 2020 Series. Organising the remaining few events under the current conditions is too big a responsibility and, as those likely to do this are in the vulnerable group, too much of a risk.Enjoy your cycling without the pressure and come back stronger in 2021.Series fees will be carried over to next year for those who...Read More »

Sorry folks but after the CTT announcement re suspension of all events to the end of June I, along with Chairman Mike, have decided to cancel the full series. To all those who supported us in 2019, both riders and helpers, our thanks. To Vive le Velo our thanks for the superb sponsorship for not only the League but also our fantastic cyclo cross series.
Chairman Mike and myself have decided to cancel our April committee meeting. There is unlikely to be much activity to discuss but if there is we can communicate via e'mail / phone. Only Betty and John F not on e'mail. Take care out there, stay safe and healthy. Mike / Geoff.
With immediate effect all competitive cycling events are cancelled until further notice. We have also suspended our Wednesday and Sunday group rides along with Dans Ennerdale sessions. Nothing to stop you riding out with a pal but we would ask you to not wear club kit.
After contacting CTT we are continuing our plans to run events this season. This, of course, may change as official guidelines change. We have decided to reduce our catering at OPEN events due to concerns over food hygiene but will provide hot drinks and small items of sealed, fully wrapped, snacks after events. We hope you all understand the position we are in and sorry...Read More »
HAVING JUST SPENT A LOT OF TIME CHECKING RECORDS I FIND THAT THERE ARE SIGNIFICANT NUMBERS OF RIDERS, BOTH RACING AND SOCIAL, WHO ARE WELL OVERDUE WITH THIS YEARS FEES! If you are interested in becoming an...Read More »
Some of you already know that we have a City Road Club (Hull) WhatsApp group. So, we thought we would start using it to pass on information about our Wednesday and Sunday social rides and also for information about our Ennerdale sessions. Between Michael Dale, Paula Dickson and myself, we will use the group to post updates about rides, meeting points, times and changes. This...Read More »

Non-members and novices always welcome. We strongly recommend the wearing of safety helmets on our club rides (for the safety of all riders). Meet at Cottingham Green opposite Sainsburys at 9am (unless otherwise stated). Normally two groups. The steady group will ride to the pace of the slower rider. We usually get to café about 11.15.
