Jase travelled to Etwall on Saturday for the Belper BC 25 and in tricky conditions came away disappointed with a 53m 18s [16th]! Most of us can but dream. The event was won by Barry Charlton with 49m 31s.
Only other rider out at the weekend was Andy Vaughan making his first start in a 50 for a good many years. Getting lost prior to the start and having a 4 minute penalty did not help the cause. Eventually Andy finished with a time of 2hr 37m 23s including his LS penalty.
A good group of riders enjoyed the sunny morning on sunday and peddled out to Hornsea to enjoy a 'light' breakfast [I think not!!!] prior to riding the calories off on the return run home!
Don't forget this weeks Club event is on the Lund 10 course with first rider off at 7.01.
Oh and the 'Badger' has got his new wheels and is 'going to fly' !
