HUMBERSIDE CA 10 MTT - V718.
No less than 15 Club members rode the Humberside CA event on the V718 last night in very warm conditions. The fast run to the turn lulled many into a false sense of achievement as, once again, the slight head wind finish took its toll on riders energy.
Fastest on the night was Adam Duggleby with a great 19m 10s with Joel Wainman the only other sub 20 ride.
Jason came close once again with 20m 03s, a fair ride after his first 50 on sunday!
Steve Carrigan continues to show good form with 21m 47s closely followed by Chris Youngs 21m 59s. Cervelo Man, Nic Fairfields 22m 36s was a great result in the traffic free conditions at the end of the evening.
Lone lady, Lesley Phillips, got under evens with a ride of 29m 26s.
The remaining club members all finished very close together with several members newer to the race scene gaining new pbs'.
Andy Vaughan 25m 01s, Mark Philipson 23m 07s [rode 50 tt on sunday], Paul Ridpath 25m 16s, Stuart Wadsworth 24m 41s, Mike McCleavy 23m 56s, Rob Badger 25m 26s, Les Phillips 24m 44s,Tony Washbrook 24m 12s, Mark Symons 23m 49s and Brian Taylor, who could not stop grinning, 23m 42s.
Great to see such a good turnout from the Club and well done to all on some very pleasing rides.
