Main event of the weekend was the Otley 50 on the V259/1 but our five riders met with mixed success.
Les P was a DNS, Lesley P and Stu W were DNF which left Mark and Jason to hold the fort.
Jason, in his first 50, rode to a fine 1hr 52m 36s whilst Mark just missed going under with 2hr 01m 02s. Both riders commented on how tough conditions were towards the end of the event. '''That was a long way and a real baptism of fire'' was Jasons after race comment.
Andy Jackson produced a 1hr 46m 10s ride to top the table.

TRIATHLON.
Dave Philipson has had a busy couple of weekends competing in triathlon events.
Last weekend in the Allerthorpe event he was 2nd Junior and 24th overall in a field of 245!
This weekend he took part in the Barracuda event winning the Junior race and finishing 5th overall.
With exams now out of the way and more time on the bike we had better watch out for both  him and Nic in Club events.
