The first running of the PETE TAYLOR MEMORIAL ROAD RACE on the Newbald circuit saw a field of 39 take to the course. Yesterdays Wolds RC event on the V718 finally saw this super fast course yield the 10 comp record to Michael Hutchinson.
Conditions were described as not ideal with a swirling cross wind but even so some fine rides were produced.

Jase travelled to Etwall on Saturday for the Belper BC 25 and in tricky conditions came away disappointed with a 53m 18s [16th]! Most of us can but dream. The event was won by Barry Charlton with 49m 31s.
Only other rider out at the weekend was Andy Vaughan making his first start in a 50 for a good many years. Getting lost prior to the start and having a 4 minute penalty did not help ...
