It has been confirmed, via Ian Cammish, that Doncaster based cycle importers and distributors Planet X Cycles will be supporting our Good Friday Ten again. They are once more running the 'Old Skool' series and our ten will be the first of the season. Planet X will be proving the prizes for the Old Skool event and anticipate having items for the riders in the other events as this season.

Jason Young travelled to the Weaver Valley road race on sunday and avoided crashing this time out.

The race was over ten laps of a five mile circuit with a steep hill over start / finish area. The field was soon reduced over this climb with a few riders getting away from a group of about twenty.

Controversy surrounded the start of the highly anticipated 'freewheeling' competition. Several riders were spotted 'topping up' on Mars bars to increase bulk and improve momentum and a 'stewards enquiry' had to be held to discuss the legality of tri-bars! Such was the intensity of this competition.

Well it's finally arrived - the last TT event of the season on Yorkshire roads.

Sundays YCF 25 had to be moved to the V234 [modified] due to roadworks on the A1. Conditions were much improved from the gale force winds of the day before but the slow Knayton turn and the 'Col de Dishforth' just before the finish does much to reduce times on this course.
